I must be a Facebook addict for I even use Facebook mobile on my phone when I’m not online on the PC.
Facebook mobile is cool, it shows you just the basic newsfeed and not like the whole thing from the main site. By the way, I use an Opera browser on my phone, looks much better interface wise.
So, Youth Star today ran a story about online social networking sites, about some young boy having numerous Friendster accounts. That’s just crazy stuff. Quantity is not quality at all. Well, although I joined and tried numerous networking sites as well, from Myspace, to Friendster, to Multiply, Powncer, Orkut etc. I think nothing beats Facebook for its interactivity. Yes, that’s the secret formula here, interactivity. Users of Facebook can add and delete apps as they like, draw graffiti, drink virtual booze, play Pacman, grow flowers, throw sheep at your friends, share movies, songs, videos, and so much more! The possibilities are endless! That’s what make Facebook stand out from the crowd.
In my humble opinion, all my friends should really get on the bandwagon. Unfortunately, not too many I know has done that. People are still stuck on Friendster, and the artistes on Myspace. One thing is that Facebook don’t allow band signups, so too bad.
I heard from my friend staying in UK that some companies even banned Facebook from their internet access as employees so addicted to it had been slacking from work while updating their Facebook site. Well, it can’t be blamed on this innovative site if your employees are slacking and not producing. If employees want to slack, they will always find a way, whether it’s virtual or not, like pretending to look busy or something like that.
So hey, if I know you personally, do get on Facebook and add me today!
hey fellow facebook addict, i know what you mean about facebook being addictive. it’s SO much better than friendster and myspace. P.S. I also checked facebook from my mobile before :oP
