I had been ‘unrighteously’ using Kaspersky AV 6.0 for a while now, and it’s nearly the best around, catching the meanest spyware and viruses when others can’t…however, recently, Kaspersky must have found too many people using it without a license and decided to the block virus updates. Since then, I had been searching for a good free antivirus program, surely there’s some out there. I wasn’t willing to downgrade to AVG or even Panda? Those just won’t do the trick….
Then I googled and found Zonealarm. This igaming software is based on Kasperksy just with some features taken off…like Web scan, Proactive defense and all those special stuff that came with Kaspersky 6, which might just be a blessing in disguise for computers that are less pumped with ram. Kaspersky’s contant scanning really eats up the memory.
Anyways, AOL Active Virus Shield just require users to input their email to get a 1 year free activation code…this code can only be used in one computer. So even though you install in another PC, you will need a send another email to get a new code. I don’t want to imagine what they do with our emails, knowing AOL, hhm, but you can always not give your main email. This software even downloads updates straight from Kaspersky’s lab, pretty neat I would say…and being pretty light, I feel my PC’s burdens lifted suddenly. 😛 Try it out. Read other reviews. If you have a virus but don’t have time to bring your computer into the shop, Computer Repair Sunnybank can travel out to any suburb in Brisbane Southside. They do a great job and it’s extremely convenient.
thanks
