Our neighbouring country, Singapore, is famous for her beautiful extravagant Christmas decorations all over the country, from the streets to the shopping malls. All businesses are trying so hard to pull crowds with their huge trees, amazing lights etc. Well, I think Malaysia is not really losing to her neighbour in terms of shopping mall decos, check out some of these in the major malls around Klang Valley. Some photos are not self taken, tho I can’t remember from where, Oops sorry!
This one’s found in the second phase of One Utama in Subang. It’s really huge, I don’t know if a person can actually go inside it. But it’s up to three floors high. I’m not sure tho, how it connects to Christmas.
This is part of the many decos found in Star Hill, in Bukit Bintang area. It’s got local flavor with its use of the batik cloth.
KLCC has been putting up their giant Christmas trees for a few years already, three years if I’m not mistaken. It’s still an amazing sight to behold.
Mid Valley Mall decorates the stage with many a Christmas tree. Nothing too unique here.
Alamanda the new shopping mall has one of the cutest decorations, with a very nice Igloo. When I was there, there was a youth choir presenting some carols. Looking inside the Igloo I saw two security guards, or Pak Guard, with many boxes of gifts looking like stuffs inside. I had no idea what they were doing in there though.
Do share what other decos you’ve seen all around Malaysia. Merry Blessed twelve days of Christmas!

Yeap. The cats are actually in Kajang, where I now reside. Haven’t been in Kuching for nearly half decade! 😛
