Jawa Street Townstay Malacca Review
Last year, my church youth and young adults decided to go for our planning retreat in Malacca, and we found this nice, quaint little townstay hotel really near to Jonker, Jawa Street Townstay. Basically, this hotel is a row of shophouses transformed and renovated into a very cool apartment style hotel. This is perfect for a big family getaway, as you cannot book just one room, you have to book the whole house with first and second floor. Each house has either 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms or 5 bedrooms. Old Penang Guesthouse Review
When looking for a hotel, we had to take a few things into consideration: location, price, availability of extra bed, usage of fridge, hot water and parking. Not to mention the safety of the house, because we were travelling with our children who were in their infancy. Hence, we were looking for guesthouses which specifically had Roof safety systems, which’d allow us easy access to outdoors in case of fire. Which led us to book OldPenang Guesthouse. Air Asia’s Tune Hotel, Kota Kinabalu

I actually paid RM0.02 for the room for 2 nights, RM16.80 for the administrative fees, and RM 10.49 for 12 hours credit of air cond, that ‘s a total of RM27.31!
