What is Luck?
It is common for people to wish each other ‘Good luck’ when either one is going to face a challenging situation, eg. auditions, exams, asking a girl out etc. As a Christian, I always think that the word LUCK itself should never be used. Simply because I do not believe anything can happen by luck. Luck is defined as “1 a : a force that brings good fortune or adversity b : the events or circumstances that operate for or against an individual 2 : favoring chance; also : SUCCESS” (Merriam-Webster Dictionary). Holiday
Sarawakians would be emjoying a nice long holiday at this time of Gawai Celebrations. But here in the West, the festival goes by quietly. My sisters have been on holiday as well. One’s gone to Japan while the other is now in Singapore. Kinda lost contact with them for a while now. I’ve taken my own holiday as well today.
