There are so many electronic stuffs for baby out there in the market, but one thing that is quite necessary for me is a baby monitor. My baby sleeps in my room, and he sleeps early. So, there are times that I don’t want to be sleeping at the same time he does, and since I live in a double storey house, when I’m downstairs, there is no way I can hear my baby unless he cries really loudly. Visit to the Child Specialist
Today, we brought Josiah to Wong’s Child Specialist. The past few days, he seemed to be coughing out phlegm, and looked so uncomfortable. Anyways, at the clinic, the doc checked him out and found that he has a bit of cough, hence the phlegm in the chest. Since he was there, we got him on the weighing machine, and he’s already 7kg now. Shocking, he put on 0.7kg in 2 weeks. No wonder it’s so hard to carry him now… 😛 Anyways, now he has to take nose drops and cough and phlegm syrup in one. Being checked seated at the patient’s table…

Kek Lapis Sarawak
Kek Lapis Sarawak or Sarawak Layered Cake is a very, very special delicacy in Sarawak, served especially during festivities like Gawai, Raya, Chinese New Year etc. It’s actually a very hard to make cake, as you have to bake it layer by layer, and it’s very colourful. However, supposedly the colours are safe to consume. Kek Lapis Sarawak actually originated from Indonesia, so if you go to Indonesia, you’ll find it there too.
