Modern cafe in an old town
Recently there’s a new store that opened in Kajang town, pasar Kajang to be exact. At the market area, there are two rows of food stalls, mostly those very old kopi tiam kind. Well, this store called Kitchen Wonderland is pretty unique, interior design wise. I like how they manage to liven up this very old part of town, and make it ‘young’ and ‘hip’ yet in a simplistic manner. Travelling with a breastfed, cloth diapered, natural food baby
We have never traveled out of the house for any holidays with Josiah since he came into this world. So, last weekend we decided to take a short 2 day 1 night trip to Berjaya Hills Resort, Colmar Tropicale. Being the first trip, naturally I was a bit hassled about so many things, particularly how to handle the diapers and the food for baby. The easiest part is the fact that I am still breastfeeding Josiah, so I don’t have to bother about bringing bottles and milk powder. Who’s a rule breaker?
I hated rules. Back in highschool, I used to break every rule I can find without making it look too obvious, especially when I was a prefect in Form 6. Our school do not allow coloured socks, only pure white socks, so I’d use to wear converse pattern socks but fold it down to hide the logo. After school, I would untuck my shirt and take off my tie. Oops, Maxis did it again!
Maxis’s inconsistencies is getting worse. Here’s my experience with ever since I port in to Maxis from the much better DIGI. 1) First, I hate that Maxis has two customer service. Call 123 for the free customer service for those using postpaid line. For hotlink users, call 123 and get kicked out, we have to call the 1300 number which we get charged on our prepaid line. Unless we use telekom landline. My husband has 2 Maxis postpaid line, and sometimes I use his phone to call Maxis. But once I mention Hotlink, it’s a taboo word for them.
