Chinese New Year Dinner at Genting Palace
Genting Palace (Non-Halal) is a majestic Chinese restaurant located in Genting Grand Hotel, just next to the Genting International Showroom where we would watch all the magic shows. I was in Genting Highlands for a Chinese New Year Food Review, let’s check out what’s on offer for the CNY Season. The CNY Menu is really really extensive if you check out their website, I will be reviewing certain dishes that was prepared by Executive Chef Jacky Yap. The restaurant is very long and I think can really fill a lot of diners. Still, Chef Jacky told us that it is always full house for lunch and dinner on normal days.…

Who doesn’t know Old Master Q or better known as Lao Fu Che (老夫子). To walk down memory lane, there is no better place than at First World Plaza, Resorts World Genting. Old Master Q characters together with Big Potato 大番薯, Mr Chin, Ms Chan…

Then I realised that there is an art exhibition going on until 31 March 2016. The whole of Genting Highlands is usually pretty crammed and full of people, but the lobby of Tower 3 is serenely peaceful, so it makes great sense that they decided to use the lobby as an art gallery. The most amazing this is, the art are not produced by highly acclaimed professional artists. These are art by children as young as 1…

A Gastronomic Chinese New Year Celebration at Cheng Ho Court
Sometimes the environment of your dinner location is as important as the food itself. If you are looking for that serene, beautiful resort that also serves amazing Chinese New Year dishes, look no further than Cheng Ho Court, located within Philea Mines Beach Resort, or formerly known as Mines Wellness Hotel. The resort is still undergoing some face lifting before the major name change so sign boards still point to Mines Wellness Hotel coming in. Take a left turn from the lobby and down one floor, I found myself at the entrance of Cheng Ho Court, the traditional looking Chinese restaurant. It was really a great place to indulge and…
