Mydin USJ x SJ Echo CNY Carnival 2016
My Chinese New Year 2016 celebrations literally ended with a bang as I celebrated it with my family at MYDIN USJ x SJ Echo’s annual CNY Carnival and CSR event. It had been the 4th year running as Mydin Mall USJ appreciated the community of Subang Jaya with this carnival. By the way, SJ Echo is Subang Jaya’s free community newspaper. The event started off with a kids art competition on stage with great prizes to be won. People from all over Subang Jaya and beyond gathered at the event and it was really a joyful time with the multiracial community in Malaysia. One can really feel the harmony in…

How many steps are there in your skincare routine? For me, it was oil cleanser>foam cleanser>essence>lotion>serum>emulsion>moisturiser>nightmask or sunscreen, that is like 8 steps but really, I had gotten used to this. There are additional steps like using masks on certain days. Then I heard of this all new step, skin booster! What’s a skin booster you say? The reason being, having tried so many skincare in the market, I could still remember the first time I tried the KOSÉ whitening mask and cleanser at a roadshow, I immediately bought the set that time as it was that good. They even send us the product for review in a bigger than life box, lovingly filled with balloons and a heart shaped helium one. KOSÉ knows how to make a girl happy for sure. I still felt…

Trumpeter Pablo Flores meets Japanese Conductor Kazuki Yamada only at MPO
It seemed like forever had past since my last encounter with Mozart at the MPO. This time, I want to highlight this show The Mermaid, based on one of the most well loved literature, The Little Mermaid. I think this will be quite a light and good one for those who has never been to the orchestra. Why not give it a try on one of the two dates? Zemlinsky’s Die Seejungfrau (The Mermaid) was based by Han Christian Andersen’s fairytale ‘The Little Mermaid’, one of 170 stories from a collection that ranks among the finest achievements in world literature. It is a story of an aquatic creature who longs…
