It’s not as famous as the Sarawak Kolo Mee and Sarawak Laksa for sure, but this dish is a favourite among many Kuchingites. I won’t miss it should I go back to home. An album to raise more funds
Oops Asia, a local record label, with the likes of Patrick Leong, Juwita Suwito and Altered Frequency being its artists, is going to release a compilation album for fundraising for the Tsunami Affected Regions. I think this is great, I have always loved songs by all three of these artists, and now they’ve written songs just for this. The album’s going to be released on 26 Jan and can be found in most Christian books stores such as Canaanland, Gladsounds, Chosen Treasure and Salvation, including MPH, Powerstation and some others…be sure to look for it. Carot Cheese Originally uploaded by Leona. I went to do some Christmas shopping at Alamanda yesterday…was craving for some cheesecake, so I stopped at Secret Recipe for a bite. I haven’t had this version of carrot cheese cake before. It tastes just like their signature cheese cake, but with the aroma or raw carrot and pieces of the vege all over. The top skin of the cake is particularly sticky with some kind of caramel like thing that makes it stick to the cheese part. When I make cheese cake, there’s usually no skin, it’s just all cheese.
