It’s pretty delicious, especially the meatball, it was really really juicy. When you bite into it, it’s like that Stephen Chow movie where the juice just spurt out. Don’t believe it?

Flowers in the pond

Lotus blossoms early in the morning and becomes a bud again in the evening… I love white lotus, not as vibrant as the pink ones, but yet something beatiful and pure about it…it is not asking for too much attention and yet, in its own way, draws the lenses to its beautiful soft petals, white and snowy, pure and lovely.

Burger King sets
lunch Originally uploaded by Leona. Burger King is famous for none other than its huge burgers. On the day that I was going back to Kuching, I decided to stop by for lunch at Burger King. At first I was contemplating between thi outlet and Butlers, but Butlers is inside the Terminal, so it kinda feels like been restricted when entering the Terminal? I dunno weird feeling… Anyways, I ordered the regular size Jr Whopper meal. They only have regular and large. John ordered Large however, and I just then realised that the Large size is like a conning us to pay RM1 more. Since Burger King gives free flow…

Sarawak laksa
sarawak laksa Originally uploaded by Leona. Talking about food makes me hungry, so I might as well talk about the infamous Sarawak Laksa. Over in West Malaysia, this dish can be found in certain restaurants and some coffee chops with migrated Sarawakians, but always diluted. This is probably the most expensive Sarawak famous mee dishes. Comes above RM3, sometimes up to RM5 if you want it ‘special’. I had never liked it when I was younger…but being away from it for such a long time, made me love it and proud of it. It’s a bit spicy, and very different from the laksas you find in West.
