Recycling really pays
I started recycling our wastes 2 years ago and since then I have called the company, Recycle and Redeem to my house at least 11 times to pick up the wastes. It is an extra that this company rewards us for recycling, we get what they call Green Points. So far, I have collected this many points. With this number of points, I can already get electronics like a table fan, toaster etc, or just get a voucher worth RM100 from Parkson, Isetan, Jusco and more. Trash becomes money, who won’t want this? Check here for things you can recycle in your home too.

Free RM500 voucher to shop at Modernmum
I had been a faithful reader of Parenthood Magazine since before Josiah’s birth and I always took the opportunity to join the baby contests in it. However, the sponsor only sent the price last week in end of February, and I only managed to go to the Parenthood office this Wednesday to get the price and this week…

And while I love my regular baking – my parents have been on a gluten-free train recently, and I’d like to make them something on occasion as well. Finally, yesterday I managed to buy the ingredients to make a healthy wholemeal bread which is actually just wholemeal flour and high protein flour, both of which cannot be found in normal supermarkets. So I had to go to…

Jin Man Noodle House
This is one of my favorite eateries located in Mahkota Cheras. It’s a noodle house selling wan tan mee but with special made fish balls which is what they are famous for. They have a few types of noodles, the thin normal wantan mee noodles, tang hoon, and thicker yellow noodles. You can make your order for soup or dry noodles and have extra things added like Yu Pill(fish intestines?) or a big piece of fish cake. I ordered tanghoon today as I always love tanghoon! This is how the fish cake looks like, it’s quite a big piece to be eaten with chilli sauce. And this is the Yu…
