The MIGF 2014 Awards and Celebration Party was held last Thursday, Nov 6 at The Royale Chulan Hotel Kuala Lumpur. TASTEMIGF seemed like just yesterday. I was there to witness the amazing and fiery end to the month long Gourmet Festival and to see who got to bring home the many awards. The event hall was like a huge disco, flashing lights and cool music, but the difference was, it was a ballroom and there were endless buffet of local delicacies served. The Festival Gala Launch Taste MIGF 2014
Last Friday Evening, 26th Oct 2014 was the Festival Gala Launch of the 14th MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL GOURMET FESTIVAL (MIGF) in Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. I was there for an exciting time to taste and sample the food galore, aptly named Super Gourmet Safari. It would be the first time I had been to this event even though it had been around for over a decade. In the Theatre of Cuisines we had to use Gourmet Dollars to exchange for the food. An Afternoon With Transitions Signature VII
What better place to showcase Transitions Signature VII, touted the lens that changes colour, then bright and sunny Sunway Lagoon. Last week, we made our way there to witness the launch of these amazing state of the art lenses complete with a test run of it at the Sunway Wildlife Park. Prior to the start of the event, we were just having fun with the props available for selfies. Some mannequin heads wearing the lenses were on this table. Healthy Simple Soy sauce Fried Noodles
Well it’s a Sunday afternoon and hubby is out at a race and will be back unexpectedly late, so I had to search my fridge to find food I can whip up for the kids. Thankfully I found the tri-color atta noodles and shiitake mushroom sauce. These noodles and sauce can just be added together but the taste won’t be as full so I decided to add some more things to it.
