Do you remember the Ghostbusters cartoon TV series from 1986?? I used to love watching them with cute (and gross) Slimer, can’t believe now that I was only 7-8 at the time and I used to collect the books and stickers and magazines all about the Ghostbusters. I believe the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man toy is still somewhere in my mum’s house. ChildAid Asia Kuala Lumpur 2016
What a privilege it was to attend ChildAid Asia held in Kuala Lumpur recently, and finding a gem of talents amongst the youth performing that day. The kids get to enjoy the performances too! Josiah met Joey at the event in KLPac shortly before it started. In short, ChildAid Asia is really a a platform for children to be able to showcase their talents, while at the same time also helping out other children who are unable to support their talents in music and performing arts. A Stunning Display Of Skill At The Asia Flow Tour 2016
What is Flowboarding? Flowboarding – or flowriding, as it is also generally known – is an alternative boardsport which gained popularity in the last 20 years incorporating elements of surfing, bodyboarding, skateboarding, skimboarding and wakeboarding. Flowboarders will ride on artificial waves comprising of a three-inch layer of water pumped at high pressure. The water flows up and over surfaces engineered to replicate the shape of ocean waves. These “sheet waves”, as they are known, are stationary and do not move forward as natural waves do. Flowboarders garner their speed from the energy of the water flowing at them, rendering them the ability to perform basic to sophisticated turns and tricks within a relatively small area.
