Back from the Hols
kuching waterfront Originally uploaded by Leona. It was good to be back in Kuching this weekend. Too bad, the hols is coming to a close once again. The feeling of going back to the fast paced, working and studying life, hhm, a tinge of sadness. I totally enjoyed my time back home, with the celebrations of my sister’s wedding and of course, time with the family and plenty of home cooked food, as well as Kuching’s best hawker delights. I was only back for 5 days, so not much can be done. Took this shot at Kuching Waterfront while strolling there after an afternoon of souvenir shopping.

Crash in Reko Road
A Wira crashed with a Kelisa early this morning at 8.10am in Jalan Reko, just below the flyover from Metro Kajang. The woman from the Wira managed to flee from her car unscathed, as gasoline spilled over her car. However, the unfortunate driver in the Kelisa was unable to escape and was stuck in the steering at the time of the picture taken. Many passers by stopped and tried to help the girl, but most waited for the ambulance to come to help her out. It is unsure whether the girl was still alive at this time.

We got ready by 7.30am in the morning after devotions and all, and Grace and Mao were already waiting for us at the lobby. Church starts at 9.00am and Grace was bringing us for early breakfast. We walked to a nearby Chinese restaurant, and the owner of it spoke to us in Cantonese. It was great coz I could order my own food. The food was great! I had beef noodles with milk tea. We talked and fellowshipped and got to…
