Pray for my mum
My mum fell down the stairs yesterday and broke her shoulder bone. I’m not panicking, but this had been my worst fear. My mum has weak knees and had been having pain while going up the stairs. In fact, I wish she’d try not to go up the stairs. Now she’s having a broken shoulder but she’s really stubborn coz she don’t want medical treatment. My sisters are trying so hard to ask her not to cook dinner and take more rest and take more calcium pills. She had never been a believer of medicine and had been faithfully taking health supplements that are supposedly the herbal kind. Please pray…

Levels of Communication
I had counselling today and learned about levels of communication. Apparently, there are five levels of communication humans use to talk or not talk to each other. Level One: Cliché Conversation. Phrases like “How are you?” There is no personal sharing. Level Two: Reporting the Facts. We are content to tell others what someone else has said. We tell the facts as known by others. We do not commit ourselves as to how we feel about them. Level Three: Ideas and Judgments. We are willing to risk telling some of our own ideas and opinions. Looking back to learn, pressing forward to grow
As the new year just started…as usual I start to reflect back on last year and what I want to see in 2007. Many many things happened last year, good and bad…but as I look back, I can’t help but be amazed at how God works. Humanly speaking, we are very much affected by situations, feelings, current issues, but God knows the beginning and the end, and sometimes, until we reach the end can we only see why certain things happen in the beginning.
