Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) and Petrosains is proud to present KL Seni & STEM Festival 2025 (KLSSF 2025), a multitude of arts, science and music extravaganza for the public to enjoy for FREE from 21 November 2025 to 23 November 2025 at Plaza 20008, KLCC Park.
The festival is the two entities’ pioneering collaboration and adopts a tagline ‘Where Arts, Heritage and Science Unite’. It is set to elevate the landscape of arts, culture and science, and boost community engagements and tourism industry, showcasing diverse local talents and exciting cultural entertainment by renowned arts groups.
This is the seventh time DFP organized such event with an aim to provide the platform for our tradition and heritage art forms to be showcased to the world. Prior to this, DFP has collaborated with various cultural groups and local artists with objectives to preserve, nurture and promote the rich diversity of our invaluable art forms.
Established in 1999 as part of PETRONAS’ education-driven social impact initiative, Petrosains, The Discovery Centre sparks curiosity and inspires lifelong learning through interactive exhibits and engaging STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) programmes. As a learning catalyst, Petrosains brings science to life by making it accessible, inclusive and exciting for everyone. Its outreach initiatives, including travelling exhibitions and community programmes, bring the joy of discovery to schools and communities across Malaysia including underserved and Indigenous groups.
This festival is timely for DFP to expand its horizon by collaborating with Petrosains in an event that positions Kuala Lumpur as Malaysia’s premier destination for arts, culture and innovation. It is hoped to attract local Malaysians and tourists with dynamic, family-friendly activities and eventually supporting the road to Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
This three-day event will cultivate interest among the public in the STEM fields through the lens of creativity using engaging activities. This collaborative initiative between DFP and Petrosains will also strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders around the KLCC vicinity.
There will be a vibrant heritage market at Plaza 20008 where local artisans will sell traditional crafts such as batik, woodwork, pottery, embroideries, kebaya Nyonya, saree, pearls accessories and many more. The main stage of Plaza 20008 will witness cultural dance and music performances from local artists and arts organizations.
At KLSSF 2025, Petrosains will bring science to life through imaginative, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity in all ages. Visitors can expect captivating science shows like Hue Done It? and Circular Fuel Show where colours, chemistry, and creativity collide in surprising ways. Adding to the excitement are fun, family-friendly workshops such as Light Works, DIY Instrument, Pancasains: Hue Card Game, Fingers First, and Bottle Beats that blends the wonder of science with the joy of discovery.
