Homemade Wholemeal Bread
Recently I bought the Noxxa Breadmaker 3in1 oven that can make bread, cook like a conventional oven and toast bread. I did some research beforehand, and it’s one of those breadmakers for gluten intolerant people that can also make regular bread as well. And while I love my regular baking – my parents have been on a gluten-free train recently, and I’d like to make them something on occasion as well. Counting fetal kicks with iPhone
At my last checkup 2 weeks ago, I was asked by the Klinik Kesihatan to start counting my fetal kicks. I didn’t do this last time as my private doc didn’t find it necessary. Anyways, this time, I had to record my kicks daily from 9am onwards till 9pm, and stop if I achieve 10 kicks, if not I was supposed to get to the hospital immediately. Sounds serious huh. It’s been a while now since this film came out, but it’s so lovely, that I thought I’d spend a little bit of time on it. The film in question is Arietty, from the legendary Studio Ghibli. Although it came out in 2010, it is a slice of pure sunshine that should not be forgotten. Arriety is the first film to be directed by star Ghibli animator Hiromasa Yonebayashi, who had previously worked on favourites such as Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited Away. In case you were wondering, Hirao Miyazaki may not be at the helm, but it’s still great. The film is an adaptation of The Borrowers, four classic…

28 – 30 weeks update and a first 4d baby scan
This post is 2 weeks late. Yet it’s something I must share as it was the first time I saw Jordan’s face with a 4d baby scan. Normally all we get are the 3d baby scan. Jordan is now about 1KG and from the scan, looking really chubby. He even yawned in the video. I think he looks a lot like Josiah. Well now I’m 30 weeks and I just realised I’m not as tired as I was at this stage in my first pregnancy. I used to be unable to sit on my office chair for too long and I needed something to prop up my legs all the…
