This is a two layer type of case which I prefer. There’s an inner synthetic rubber slipcover to be put on first. Then the outer is a Polycarbonate Shell. The synthetic rubber offers extra drop protection and act like a bumper for the phone’s corners and sides.
The cover goes well as a Christmas ornament! The back of the polycarbonate case has some texture that gives it a good grip while using. The phone won’t easily slip off my hands. The iPhone 7 case a has a bigger opening for the back camera. I am actually using it on my iPhone 6!
I like that the charging post has a cover too. Although the iPhone 7 is splash proof and has no need to worry about water seeping in. I can actually use the case with the iPhone 6 without any issue, except that I can’t use my normal earphones. Well, I am just testing the case anyways. Well the cover helps with not letting dust enter the lightning port.
I told you my favourite colour is purple and the Otterbox case is the exact colour of my favourite waterproof bag. It is as if I bought them together but no, I didn’t. I am quite pleased with and throughout the testing period, I dropped my phone a few times. Yes, very unfortunately I am quite clumsy. I know that Otterbox is not 100% shatterproof, it really depends how high and how hard the fall for the phone is. I also have a glass to cover the screen just in case.
