Catch TrikStars Masters of Trickery in Sunway Lagoon

The first ever TRIKSTARS – Masters of Trickery had been playing at Sunway Lagoon’s Amphitheatre for about a week now starting Dec 5 2015, and the last show will be on 20 Dec 2015. So if you had not yet caught the show, let me tell you why you should rush to get the tickets right now.

I’m a huge fan of magic shows, and TrikStars is one filled with internationally acclaimed magicians and illusionists all doing their best to showcase their unique blend of spectacular stunts, magic, and comedy. If you have been reading my articles for a while now, you know I love exploring new places, trying out new cuisines and visiting places like ” Las vegas.” In fact, only after finding the Vietbet Sportsbook review is when I started to place bets on online casino games which helped me win big when I later played almost a very similar game at one of the casinos in Las Vegas, Dennis and Mcgregor is one of them games that I love play. While I was at this show, due to it’s factor to amaze me at every single moment I watched the 2 hour show completely enthralled. I can tell you there are so many entertaining parts of the show that is suitable for everyone of all ages, whether it is for one who loves tricks to heart thumping excitement, to latest pop songs to even, fashion.

There were a  total of seven performers, from Las Vegas and Europe that we saw that night. Phelston Jones was the first to appear and he immediately went into the audience, interacting directly with audience using a mix of magic and satire, as the camera followed and the crowd cheered at every magical moment he brought. He captivated audience members with his mix of magic and satire

The next act, American magician Sylvester the Jester was basically a cartoon character brought to life, think crazy cartoons ala Tom & Jerry. He came out with his oversized coat and funny voice, and really attracted the kids with the really funny tricks. Josiah chose him as his favourite of the night.

My favourite group was no doubt, King Charles Troupe who came out on unicycles and played basketball right on the stage. It was quite amazing to watch as I was so afraid they might fall, but the fact was they were super skillful in their balancing act  at the same time as shooting the balls, and even with a bit of hip hop added to it. I was totally baffled, this is one act the cyclists like John would fall in love with.

I really loved the act by Magus Utopia which was actually rather dark and foreboding, mixing magic into a story about having Nightmares with amazing costume and illusions. This one might be a little scary for little ones, but I didn’t see any kids crying that night. I loved it due to the excellence of all the ‘monster’s on stage as well as the nerdy guy supposedly caught in the nightmare, it was done all too realistically and did really left me utterly spellbound. It was like those horror movies that you want to close your eyes yet you still want to watch it! Though seriously, it was not that scary.

Another act that was really beautiful and entertaining to watch were award winning dance couple Sebastian and Kristina, from juggling, to costume changes in seconds, the couple were totally synchronized in their moves and really without a doubt, magical in every sense. I love the chemistry between the two and the super speedy moves.

The ‘Coolest Magician on Earth’ Rudy Colby is really a bit of an inspector gadget. He could appear with multiple legs or do dangerous stunts like banging nails into his own face while still able to talk and laugh.

Throughout the whole 2 hours show, we were also really entertained by famed songstress, J’aime Holland singing latest hit songs and parading in the most amazing dresses with her beautiful dancers.

Among those in attendance were local Malaysian celebrities such as Sasha Saidin, Muhammad Haslam bin Abdul Rahmad, Elizabeth Tan, Brian Lim and local rock band An Honest Mistake.
