Friendster Encouraging new Bloggers
When I started blogging, I only had a handful of friends who blog. Most of the bloggers I knew online are way over the other side of the world. Then came Friendster Blogs, and everybody I knew who never thought of blogging before, actually became a blogger. How cool is that? If someone is to approach me to ask me how to start a blog, I actually wouldn’t recommend using Friendster’s Blogs. Upgrading to 1.5.1.3
Once again, the WordPress people had released the upgrade version to fight some security problems to do with the xmlprc.php file. I downloaded the whole thing at first to install a new WP site, but all the files were not in their respective folders, like wp-admin, wp-content, etc. I wonder why it’s like this?? Anyways, I’m also kinda lazy to have to upload all the new files as I didn’t know which file has changed. It wouldn’t be logical for me to go through each and every file. WordPress is one of the many blog engines out there that are offered to bloggers for free. WordPress is quickly growing its userbase, with many people switching to WordPress due to its highly flexible template changing abilities, easy to modify interface, and due to the fact that it’s totally OpenSource. I personally love WordPress a lot as I love the simple blogging interface, totally user friendly and the many installable plugins out there that users have developed over the years.
