After the passing of Elma last month, the house became very quiet and different. Sarawak in Puchong
Once a while, we still can have a taste of Sarawak in Puchong. Last Merdeka, being a patriotic day, made me remember Sarawak all the more. So we made a drive down to Puchong, Bintang foodcourt just before attending a wedding, to taste the ever missed, Kolo Mee. Thank God it was open, but the noodles were already finishing. Here, Kolo Mee is so pricey. In Kuching, it usually cost RM2.70 to RM3.50 in town area, but here, the regular size is RM3.80 and Large is RM4.30. Tomato Kueh Tiaw is only found in Sarawak, it happens to be one of the many amazing dishes Kuching has. I always missed this dish and must eat it everytime I go back for a short trip. When I first saw Elma, she was a thin, ragged little kitten running around the streets at the Pasar Malam in Taman Sri Langat. It was chemistry at first site, and we looked and spied at her for the next few days while thinking whether we should adopt her. Elma was always active and not afraid of people.
