Reflections of 2008
Today is the last day of 2008! Excitement is in the air as people all over the world gather to celebrate, to party, to countdown the last few seconds of the year. There are so many ways people will celebrate the year ending, some in reflections of how their year went, some will be busy making resolutions, some will be planning on attending street parties all over, some may be just staying at home watching TV, some might be in much uncertainty of what 2009 will bring them…. Buck up, Ikea…
I have always loved Ikea products and concept, so much that I visit Ikea at least once a month, and most of my stuffs are from Ikea, including 2nd hand stuffs. 😛 However, last Friday, I had a most terrible experience in Ikea that would probably taint the image of Ikea in my brain forever. So far, we only have the Lion.…

8% or 11%? Your choice
Recently, the gov decided to allow the people to reduce their EPF contributions from 11% to 8% for the next 3 years due to the economic crisis. At work, we had a meeting to decide whether we want 11% or 8%. Thankfully, most if not all of my colleagues opt for 11%. The gov wants us to increase our disposable income, that we will end up spending more and saving less. This I feel, is hardly a very smart move. For a regular person earning around RM2000 a month, reducing the contribution to 8% will only give them an extra RM60 to spend a month. Now what is RM60 to…
