Breaking a Record in Aquaria KLCC
Malaysia celebrated 60 years of achievements and independence, and together with the Malaysian Book of Records, aquariaKLCC also celebrated an achievement of its own for Hari Merdeka! aquariaKLCC unveiled the Longest Jalur Gemilang in an Underwater Aquarium at a length of 60m to commemorate 60 years of Merdeka. This newest achievement will add on to our existing four Malaysian Book of Records achievements for 1st Live Underwater TV Broadcast with TV3 and 1st Live Underwater Radio Broadcast with FlyFM in 2006, 1st Underwater Board Meeting held in 2011, and Biggest Stingray in Captivity in 2014. Prudence Foundation, the community investment arm of Prudential Corporation Asia, has launched a mobile app to help parents to discuss a variety of financial literacy subjects with their children in an entertaining and engaging way. As part of the award-winning Cha-Ching programme, the free app – Cha-Ching Challenge – is designed for parents and their children aged seven to 12 years old. It’s a two week school holiday! I actually just realised that it is two weeks not one. One of the things I try to do during the holidays is to get outdoors more and make a memorable experience for my kids.
