What can be more precious than little children in this world? They are the hope and the future of our nation. Children are the treasures in every society. Whether our own children or children from others, ,we should love and care for them with open hearts and provide the best for them from the little we may have. This Christmas, being the season of joy, peace and hope, and also a season of giving, I am sure our own children would be receiving much abundance, but how about the less fortunate? What about giving them some love and happiness this season?<\/p>\n

This Christmas, Cheras LeisureMall unveils its theme for the season \u2013 \u2018Christmas From The Heart\u2019<\/strong>. Even as the mall is transformed into a glimmering wonderland, the celebration bears deeper significance as shoppers and the community are invited to participate in the annual \u201cToy Bank \u2013 A Gift of Love\u201d<\/strong> programme from now until 27th<\/sup> December 2015. This annual charity campaign allows shoppers, well-wishers and generous members of the public to bring smiles to underprivileged children\u2019s faces by fulfilling their wishes. I think this is an awesome opportunity for everyone to bless these lovely children.<\/p>\n

If you want to join this meaningful cause, just go to the mall and\u00a0first pick a card from the wishing tree, select a toy or gift from child\u2019s wish list and then deposit the gift together with the wish card at the Toy Bank located at Ground Floor Concourse. You can also\u00a0donate household items such as rice, cooking oil, toiletries, canned food, detergent and school books to the homes directly as all the homes are always in need of these.<\/p>\n

The children from the respective orphanages and charity organizations will be at Cheras LeisureMall on 29 December 2015 to receive the gifts after a fun-filled day at the mall. The recipients for this year include children from Shepherd’s Centre Foundation, Trinity Community Children\u2019s Home, Persatuan Kebajikan Warga Tua Dan Kanak-Kanak WP, Pusat Jagaan Beribuan Kasih, Kajang, Bodhi Homecare Cheras, San Pedro Orphanage Home, Rumah Sayangan, Rumah Kanak Kanak Angels, Persatuan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Cornerstone, Yayasan Sunbeams Home, Rainbow Home, Rumah Bakti Nur Syaheera and Pusat Majudiri Y for the Deaf.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cToy Bank\u201d is an annual CSR initiative in line with PPB Group Berhad\u2019s core value to contribute and engage with the communities in which we operate, and with society at large.
