I always loved watching the Masterchef series on Astro and I get super excited when Asians or even better Malaysians showcasing Malaysian food becomes one of the winners. Like when Emily Loo cooked Sarawak Laksa on Masterchef Australia 2014 and all the judges loved it so much, oh how we take for granted our beloved dish that can be found in nearly every hawker stall in Sarawak.<\/p>\n

So the point is, Asians can cook, thus now there will be Masterchef Asia and we are calling for all the amateur cooks out there who has a passion for cooking and sharing your amazing dishes with the world. <\/p>\n

Lifetime\u00ae presents MasterChef Asia \u2013 a 15-episode series which will feature three judges, to be named at a future date, alongside contestants selected from across Asia. Amateur cooks who aspire to be the first ever MasterChef Asia can submit their audition videos on masterchefasia.com <\/a>from now until 16 March! (extended time). Do read the rules and regulations, there are quite a few such as you can’t have worked professionally as a cook before etc. and your video must be under 5 min, and you must be available for the shoot in Singapore from April to Sept 2015.<\/p>\n
