This is a very new app launched for the iPad today which was previously on the Android. The above release video shows how the app is used, it’s a very simple puzzle app targeting children around Josiah’s age to maybe a little older. The game has 3 levels of difficulty, Easy, Medium and Hard where the only change of the different levels is in the hint of the picture of the puzzle. For example, in Easy, you just press the ‘eye’ button and it shows exactly what the picture is so kids can have an idea what puzzle they are forming. In medium level, it shows only the shadow of the shape. In Hard level, nothing is show at all.<\/p>\n

The other option of play is using Rotate puzzle, Move puzzle and Sliding puzzle. This is shown clearly in the video above. My 3 year old probably only knows how to use Rotate puzzle. Move puzzle and Sliding puzzle are suitable for older children when they can grasp the picture in their minds longer.
\nJosiah tried playing with this puzzle and liked that once the puzzle is solved, some a star burst is displayed. It gives him a sense of achievement. There are 30 different puzzles to play with, with different themes. From fruits, vegetables to transport, shapes, and animals. The variety of pictures will attract kids that are interested in different things. My son did a few puzzles in one seating.<\/p>\n

I’m not sure if Josiah will ever make it his favourite app, but I do like the nice graphics. He’s more into arts so the nice graphics will help him in his colouring, as he can refer to the colours for his craft time. It will be a nice app to keep to challenge his little mind in his problem solving and reasoning skills. He’s very interested in real life puzzles, so the iPad puzzle is an addition to that for our outings when we can’t bring our heavy wooden and cardboard puzzles.<\/p>\n
