Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP) continues its 25th anniversary celebration with a jazz concert themed The Music of Stevie Wonder to be presented by the MPO Jazz Band & Friends on Saturday, 9 September 2023 at 8.30 pm. THE MPO PRESENTS MOZART’S JOYFUL HORN CONCERTOS AT DEWAN FILHARMONIK PETRONAS!  Â
The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) will present a concert full of wonderful melodies, elegant lyricism and pastoral loveliness on Saturday, 12 August 2023 at 8.30 pm at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), KLCC. The concert will be conducted by MPO Resident Conductor Naohisa Furusawa. The centerpieces of this programme are Mozart’s two horn concertos. Not only did Mozart write more concert works for the horn, all the concertos rank at the pinnacle of the solo horn repertory. The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO)’s 25th anniversary continues when it presents family-themed concerts that combine the magic of silver screen with enchanting music of a ‘live’ orchestra in Family Film Favourites scheduled on Saturday, 17 June 2023 at 11.30 am and 2.30 pm at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, KLCC. The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) continues to stretch its versatility when it celebrates the music of legendary Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng on Saturday, 15 April 2023 at 8.30 pm at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP). This concert is part of the MPO’s 25th anniversary celebration and a testimony of its diverse artistry in presenting concerts of different genres such as classical, pop, jazz, traditional and contemporary. This is the MPO’s ongoing initiatives to appease the varied music tastes for everyone.
