Product Review of Skechers Pro-TR 1

IMG_2516

Last September, I was given the opportunity to shop at Skechers and get a pair of shoes for each of my family members. Today, I will be reviewing my hubby’s shoes, the Skechers Pro-TR 1. Granted, it’s a bit hard to review something that I personally didn’t wear, so this review is all based on what my hubby said to me. Here’s a first look video when the shoes was super new and untouched, just a bit on the special tech used to make these shoes.

Tongue Lock technology

Initially, John wore this shoes casually, to go out shopping, to work etc. One day, while at a shopping mall, he left something in the car and he needed to run a distance to get it and bring it back to us, that was when he realised the Skechers gave him a good sprint. Somehow, the ‘wings’ the green part as shown on the video, allowed him to spring back faster and the run became faster and smoother.

However, he started wearing it for sports especially for his cycling. He left his actual cycling shoes at home and decided to use the Skechers instead as he said it is lighter, and to compete in races, he needed to shed any extra weight to be faster.

Here’s a proof of him wearing it at one of the many cycling events. Overall, I think this pair of shoes is really versatile, it looks cool to wear just walking about and it works as a sports shoes too, plus it is super comfortable, and that is the most important aspect.

Disclaimer: I was not paid for this review. However, I did receive the product for free to assist in my reviews. The opinions in this blog post are 100% mine.

Documenting Life Inspired by Project Life

Even as a child, I have always have this obsession in documenting my life. As young as 13, I started creating my personal website. I still remember I hosted my site with angelfire.com which is now extinct. Without much knowledge of html, I will fiddle and create silly looking sites and write about my life,… Continue Reading

ToGo or Not ToGoâ„¢

Living in the Klang Valley, we tend to travel lots on the road rather than just stay at home a lot. That’s because there’s so much to see and do out there! Every weekend, our kids practically take their naps in the car as we’re always travelling somewhere, be it KL or somewhere near or… Continue Reading

Jordan updates from 7 months to 9 months

When Jordan was 7 months, we took him on his first airplane ride back to Kuching, Sarawak to meet my family. Actually, all my family had met him earlier when they came over for short visits. As usual, bringing a baby travelling is always a worrisome thing, with the huge amounts of things to pack.… Continue Reading
