The White Lodge Langkawi
Last month, we flew to Langkawi as a family for John’s company trip. Due to the whole company taking a midnight bus to Langkawi (++10 hours!) we decided to forgo that and took a MAS Get a Deal flight straight into the island instead. So, having reached there one day earlier, I decided to book ourselves a cheap motel and stay for a night. After much deliberation, I booked The White Lodge. Astro Byond PVR
We subscribed for the Astro Byond when it first came out. It was free to change the decoder and dish, and we only need to add on RM20 monthly fee to be able to watch certain channels in HD, namely the ones we subscribed were HBO HD, National Geographic HD, History HD, AXN HD. They actually have 2 options: 1) We can opt to change the decoder again, to Astro Byond PVR, which we didn’t know about when we got the Astro Byond…

I chose this design, and another one that is a sandal in XL size, wearable for toddlers up to 2 years old. Josiah seemed to enjoy walking in them, coz they are so soft and comfy. They do not wrap his little feet too tight, thus allowing them to grow at…

Mill Wheel Cafe
Recently, two new shoplots have opened near my house. The great thing is, many cafes are opening there too, that means more choices for lunch and dinner times out for us. Today we paid a visit to one of the cafe that is already opened, called Mill Wheel or Pao Bing in Chinese. From outside, it looked like a dessert place, with pics of snow ice and all that, but in fact, there are rice, pizza and spaghetti options in this little place, besides the wide array of snow ice desserts, plus other tidbits like bread, hotdogs etc. There is really quite a large range in the menu. I noted…
