    Online Grocery Shopping

    January 24, 2011 / 0 Comments

Recently I realised that online grocery shopping has finally arrived in Malaysia. More and more people are getting so busy that they can’t even drive to the nearest grocer to get their daily goods anymore. I love going to malls, and we go to one nearly every night, sometimes just to take a walk and make Josiah run around to use up his energy to ensure a good night’s sleep. Then I found this company called Doorstep that is an online grocery store and it delivers to Kajang. I found that most of the goods listed on the site are actually cheaper than those found in our conventional hypermarkets. For…

I recently searched for a new carseat, particularly a foldable one that can be used for travelling. We are travelling this Chinese New Year and I remembered the nightmare of having to lug around our very heavy 12kg and bulky Halford Convertible carseat. I had been rather pleased with the Halford, just that it is a pain to strap it up and it moves around quite a bit. Most times when travelling, we ended up just putting the carseat on the seat without strapping it, coz it was just so hard to do it while on the go. Then I searched all over the web for a foldable seat, one…

Porting back to the Yellow Man

    January 13, 2011 / 1 Comment

Porting back to DIGI was a piece of cake. It didn’t take any longer than 10 minutes at the counter, and a promised 24 hours or less for my line to be activated. More than a year ago, I was pretty happy using Digi Prepaid. Then, I ported to Maxis only because I thought it was necessary in order to get and use my new iPhone. Little did I know that it was really not. Anyways, I used Maxis for a whole year as I was given free internet 500Mb by Maxis. Then the term ended last August, and I was offered to change my line to Maxis Value 30…

    Today’s Devotion: Belief

    January 6, 2011 / 2 Comments

I used to journal on paper, but maybe this year I want to start journaling here. “And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.” Genesis 15:6 Frequently, when we talk about righteousness, we tend to associate it with an act, a deed, something that we need to do. Surprisingly, that is not how God sees it. The above passage talks about how Abram believed in God’s promises to him, that God will give him a son, and that his descendants will be as many as the stars in the sky. At that point of this promise, Abram was old and childless. He did question…
