This Pisang Goreng stall is run by an elderly couple.  People often come here for the famous Pisang Goreng and the fried “Nian Gao”. They are very generous with their banana and that is why people keep coming back for more. The banana is dipped into the batter and then deep fried. The result of it – crispy and crunchy, yet soft with oozing banana flesh that makes you want more. The banana fritters here is definitely worth the calories, and it is the perfect afternoon snack for you to de-stress from work.

Done to Bones is the right place for those who love ribs. The pork ribs here are juicy, and addictive with a coat of their signature sauce together. Cookie, the friendly cute beagle will greet you as you enter the café. The Hound Café is a dog-friendly café where people can also bring their own. The Hound Café serves a variety of homemade cakes, ranging from carrot cake, red velvet cake, passion fruit cheesecake, chocolate cake and so on. Service here is good and the ambiance of the café is great too. Definitely one of your must-visit cafes if you love dogs. At The Hound Café, you get to cuddle and play with dogs.

Restoran Yang Kee is well known for its yummy beef noodles. The noodles are handmade to create a springy texture and are said to be tastier compared to noodles made by machine. The beef noodles are served dry, or soup. The dry version of beef noodles is topped with minced meat and vegetables. You could add on some beef balls, tender beef slices of beef tripe if you like. Add a little bit of their red hot fiery chili sauce if you like some kick to your beef noodles. Tables are to be shared among diners as seats are limited.

Restoran Sun Sea is famous for its Penang Curry Mee from the Kuantan Road stall. Diners will need to wait patiently as it can get really busy and crowded. The curry broth is flavourful, packed with oomph due to the coconut milk added. Mix the belacan chili paste into your bowl of curry mee to get a kick if you like it spicy. This bowl of curry mee comes with coagulated pork blood, tofu pok, cockles, prawns, squids, and beansprouts. Definitely one of the best curry mee that you can find in Kuala Lumpur. Do come early as it is usually sold out after 1 pm.
