Oh, it’s the first time my beauty box has a love letter inside from non other than the CEO of Althea, Frank. How sweet, even though it is generic and sent to everyone, but yea, it is still sweet you know? If it’s your first time hearing about Althea, this is basically an online K-beauty one stop shopping destination and ships popular Korean beauty products all the way from Korea to countries in South East Asia like Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand. Althea is so popular because of the great pricing and great deals and there’s a 30 day unconditional return policy too. Check out their products at http://althea.kr.

Tadaa, what’s in my beauty box?? No, it’s not baked goods, but they are all made to look like actual edible food.

1) Holika Holika Smooth Egg Skin Soap (Special Set) RM52.00

Quail eggs anyone? Seriously, how cute can their packaging get? These soap look like actual eggs and the box is an actual egg crate. It is a special set with soaps in it, with four different colours. The Brownish reddish one is the Red Clay Egg Soap that helps to tighten and clean clogged pores. The Black one is a Charcoal Egg Soap that helps to absorb sebum. The yellowish one is actually Green Tea Egg Soap and it is for moisture and smoothening of the skin. Finally the White one is the Egg White Soap for tightening of pores and smooth skin too. Hey, remember not eat them, they are for the face!

Chocopie is a really popular and sweet snack in Korea. This Chocopie hand cream is really really like the real one! In fact, it also smells like marshmallow and chocolate cookie! It’s easy to carry in the bag and used daily. Infused with macadamia seed oil, marshmallow extract and cacaoseed butter, it’s able to keep my hands always moisturised and moist without the sticky feeling.

I nearly wanted to put this in my coffee but I realise it is not for eating. This is really a facial scrub. Just crush one piece and add water and it will bubble up. Exfoliating is so important for our skin. With ingredients such as Organic Black Sugar, Sunflower Seed, Apricot Seed and Rice Bran, the Bubble Sugar is meant to scrub and cleanse all at once, removing black heads, moisture and nourish while firming the pores. Skincare doesn’t get any more interesting than this.

Besides exfoliating twice a week, I also do peeling! Plus, I love eating yogurt, so why not use it on my face? The yogurt peeling is a really soft and mild way to remove dead skin cells. It is more of a gel texture, and just apply it on the skin and then rub it off gently. You will find lumps that are really our dead skin cell coming off. The yogurt gel will absorb dead skin cell and sebum at the same time.

There you go, my sweet November baking theme skincare! They are so cute and make amazing gifts don’t you think?
