I have a new lip balm from Mentholatum and this time it is called Lip Pure. The packaging is indeed living up to its name, pastel and pure. Lip Pure is formulated with FOOD GRADE ingredients, 5 types of ESSENTIAL OILS, 3 types of HONEY EXTRACTS and PLANT EXTRACTS. As with nearly all Mentholatum products, they use the best natural and safe ingredients. It is also fragrance free so I believe it is suitable for sensitive skin. I think those with sensitive skin will have sensitive lips too, is that right?
Lip Pure is a blend of 5 types of Natural Essential Oils namely Argan Oil, Marula Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, and Avocado Oil. All these I know are moisturising and nourishing properties. These are oils used to produce beautifully soft, smooth and supple lips. Additionally, another main ingredient is from New Zealand Honey Bee that are natural and unpolluted. Lip Pure delivers unsurpassed properties of Beeswax, Royal Jelly and Manuka Honey to the skin. If you don’t know already, honey is one of the key ingredients in this formulation. Honey is a natural humectant that ensures moisture is retained in the layers of the skin for lasting hydration.
This is how it looks like. I like the pure looking colour.  The formulation for Lip Pure contains Meadow-foam Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Rosemary Leaf Extract. The ingredients mentioned are meant to protect the skin from aging.
These are all natural plant ingredients. At the same time, Lip Pure also smoothen dry lips while functioning as lips softener and moisturiser. Vitamin E is another important anti-oxidant element in its formulation that protects skin from damage caused by free radicals.
It is easy to use. I just open and swipe it on my lips like lipstick. Finally, this lip balm produces no colour but it is able to protect my lips from pollution. The Lip Pure Lip Balm is already available at all leading pharmacies and major supermarket outlets at RM17.90 (4g).
