Mamonde to Launch in Malaysia by August 2016

Welcome to the World of Mamonde 마몽드! This is all new extensive K-beauty skincare and makeup line will be landing in Malaysia very soon, that is in August 2016! The first counter will be at Aeon Bandar Utama. Thanks to Butterfly Project Malaysia for the opportunity to check out this new range of products at an exclusive media preview recently in Royale Chulan Damansara Hotel organised by AmorePacific Malaysia.

At the launch, we were greeted with some amazing floral arrangements, you know why?

Mamonde is really a skincare inspired by flowers, and that morning we learned about the R&D of Mamonde which covers 5 key flowers used in Mamonde formulation, flower science technologies and its floral properties. It was amazing to know the science behind the beauty of these products. Mamonde cosmetic brand offers a really wide array of skincare, and makeup products to suit every woman’s daily needs as we would soon find out. Mamonde Brand Story
“Inspired by Flowers” Mamonde is a such a new brand for us here in Malaysia even though it has been around for a long time in Korea that I think more info and video like these should have a its place here so you can know more about the background and the extensive research done to create this brand.

The flower, a sign of beauty and a symbol of grace; is also magical with its ability to speak to the soul in a way which words cannot express. The blossoming flower, its colours and pleasant scent emits a natural inherent vitality and surging energy that lifts the mood and comforts the heart. But there’s much more to this extraordinary plant. AmorePacific Research Institute discovered the close relation between flowers and a woman’s beauty. Advanced research was then carried out on various flowers; from the root to its stem and petals to discover the amazing power and energy that the flowers possess. Vitalizing
o The Honeysuckle and the Evening Primrose both have amazing vitalizing properties that help maintain healthy skin. The Honeysuckle is an absorbent plant with its ability to absorb nutrition from barren soil to deliver nutrients fast to vital parts of its plant. Similarly for the skin, the Honeysuckle delivers nutrients found in the flower to the skin for a smoother and firmer skin that is vitalised from within. The Evening Primrose contains high concentration of fatty acid and other nutrients that is essential to improve cell structure and skin elasticity. The First Energy Essence/Serum utilizes HoneySuckle as the main flower ingredient.


Moisturizing & Hydrating
o Mamonde uses Demask Rose (Rose Water), Hibiscus, Narcissus and Peach Blossoms in its hydrating and moisturising range. The Rose water is extracted with super-high pressure to preserve its amazing properties of soothing and moisturising the skin.

The Hibiscus, Narcissus and Peach Blossom on the other hand, contain natural hydrators and ceramide that offers flawless hydration.

The Narcissus offers excellent moisturising benefits of up to 24 hours.

Anti-aging
o The Camellia is a resilient plant that thrives in a wide range of weather conditions even through winter.

Brightening
o The Magnolia, an ancient type of flower which has been around for more than 100 million years, has numerous medicinal values. The Water Lily is another plant with amazing benefits to the skin which include brightening the complexion as well as soothing irritated skin.
Pore Care & Oil Balancing
o The Heartleaf Houttuynia and Sage are perfect for regulating sebum production and especially for the oily skin. Extracts of the Heartleaf Hottuynia also help tighten the pores that have enlarged and that have lost resilience. It offers instant contraction and it is also cooling to the skin.

For now, we are just happy to be able to use these star products, Mamonde’s newly upgraded First Energy Essence and First Energy Serum – where it acts primarily as a booster to uplift your skin, giving you an overall healthier and suppler looking appearance. The steps to use these essence and serum is a little different as they are boosters, meant to be used immediately after cleansing in order to help products that follow it to be more easily absorbed. Both the essence and serum contain Honeysuckle’s “Flower Vinegar” Complex which ensures optimal skincare results and are therefore essential to obtain beautiful radiant skin.

Formulated with the Floral Biotics Technology, both the Mamonde First Energy Essence and First Energy Serum have recently been upgraded with the antioxidant Lactobacillus that is extracted from the Honeysuckle flowers. The Lactobacillus is blended together with the 1-year-old fermented “Flower Vinegar”  and claims to help with whitening, anti-aging and a firmed skin, which is what I really need now at my age. Besides that, the plant-derived Lactobacillus also helps to promote skin’s immunity, so that the skin is more protected from environmental aggressors. Finally we found that  the “Flower Vinegar”, which is obtained through natural fermentation of all parts of the Honeysuckle flowers over a year, contains antioxidant Polyphenol that provides strong antioxidant effect to the skin. Both products last for a year after opening, since they are natural, they need to be used up within the year.
