Learning From Plants in The Secret Garden

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God. Romans 1:20

I love capturing the beauty of the creation of God, especially plants, flowers and trees. They are tiny, many yet each is beautiful in itself. I have read an article about tree health, so now I can tell if a tree is dying.

The beauty of the plants sometimes shows me the qualities of God, how super creative He is. So many types of different colours, shapes, smell, benefits. How can it be, without a creator?

Some flowers are obviously graceful, from the hues to the way the petals dance in the wind.

DSC06735
Some are obviously tough, on the outside yet soft and full of nutrient on the inside.

DSC06733
Some are not even obvious beauties, easily overlooked as they may not have the brightest shades of colour, yet, look closely at every line, at how they intertwine, silently beautiful in all its years.

DSC06696
Some are sacrificial, providing nectar for the bees to thrive.

DSC06679
Some like three best friends dancing together, show us the meaning of friendships.

DSC06722
Some are super important, they make the best drink in the world, coffee.
Without it, many of us could not have lived.

DSC06651
Some stand tall and majestic, hands lifted to the sky.

Then there’s the humour in the names.

DSC06754
Like seriously, who gave these names? Do you have a mother-in-law whose tongue is great for air cleanliness?

Some resembling our beautiful hair too.

Did you stop and smell the flowers on the journey today?
