Panasonic Beauty Cafe Experience with Aishah Sinclair

Untitled

It had been years since the previous launch of Panasonic Beauty Products, so I was really excited to explore their latest range of great products made for today’s busy career women. I used to attend Jenny Lea Academy accredited cosmetology school in Kingsport, the USA, so I have an eye for good beauty products. I also love high tea, that was why I love the fact the Betjeman and Barton in One Utama was transformed into a Beauty Cafe just for this event, with live products on every table for us to try out. Read on if you are curious on what are the newly launched products for every facet of a woman’s body, from head to toe.

The theme for Panasonic Beauty is Make Beautiful Happen, and this is aimed at promoting beauty in a bigger picture, not just on the face but overall in every aspect of our lives. Panasonic wants to equip women with not just the products, but the knowledge of how to use them for self improvement and to look good. Which woman doesn’t want to look beautiful? I believe all women do, and with the new products from Panasonic, beauty is easier to achieve than ever.

During the beauty cafe experience, we had Styling Director, Yves Chong from the famous Number76 Hair Salon share with us the tips and tricks of achieving salon quality hair style right at home using the various products like the highly recommended nanoe Hair Dryer (EH-NA65 at RM423) and the EH-NA45P (RM286).

Untitled

The former is really for Dull Hair and has two nozzles for quick dry and another for setting the hair. The later is for Dry and Brittle Hair, is light and foldable, so it’s great for travelling. With the invisible nanoe tech, moisture is not lost from hair thus blow drying with these models will not dry out the hair. Hair is less messy thanks to the reduction in static electricity so your hair will look smooth and shiny. It is always best to blow dry the hair at least 80-90% and immediately after a hair wash, as wet hair may cause smelly scalp, tousled hair and easily damaged hair. Also the way we blow dry does matter; according to Yves Chong, we should not do it from the top but we should flip up the hair from bottom and blow dry from there. View the video for more details though I did not include his whole demo for fear of boring my readers.

Yves also shared about the nanoe Hair Straightener model EH-HS95 (RM412) for those afraid of frizzy hair. The special features of this straightener is it heats up very quickly, has photo ceramic coating so it works on coloured hair too without making your hair colour fade, and has intelligent sensing system, that keeps the temperature of the plate uniformly hot. Like the hair dryer, this doesn’t dry up the hair too, it has nanoe tech for keeping the hair moisturised at all times. When my hair is straight again, maybe I will get this nifty straightener.

This is probably the most popular device with the bloggers, a Scalp Massager EH-HE94 (RM349). I had scalp massagers before but this is SO GOOD as it is not just vibrating, it has a 4 finger simulation movement, and plus it can be used in the shower as it is wireless.

Who can guess what are these for? #panasonicbeautymalaysia #makebeautifulhappen

We love trying this out as it takes away any headache and tension, I think it is great to even be used on the shoulders.

Finally, VIP of the day Aishah Sinclair took the stage to share with us some beauty tips and her beauty regime. We learned that she is a mother and has an extremely busy schedule, hear her full story in the video above. I really admired her as she is able to look youthful and healthy despite her busyness and all the time given to the kids. Maybe it is because she has the full range of beauty products from Panasonic that helped her in those last minute pick me ups to refresh her anytime.

Aishah shared about her experiences using the Facial Steamer, model EH-SA31VP (RM529) which produces nano-ionic steam that can penetrate deep into the skin for hydration and moisture retention. Oh how all our skin need hydration at this age. She gave a tip about using the Face Steamer for removing makeup, how we don’t need to use the cotton and makeup remover to rub too hard especially on our eyes area that could cause more lines, instead we could just use the steamer and the makeup will become wet and easier to remove with one wipe.

I love this, the Panasonic Facial Cool Putter model EH-SQ10 (RM319) that can be used to tighten pores. Once turned on, the metal part of the putter turns really cold, just press it to the face or over the Tzones for an immediate cooling down effect. This is great for use after the Steamer which opens up the pores, then we could do some masks and then close up the pore with the putter by massaging it lightly on the skin, maybe while putting on some ampoule or serum too. Wish I have this little device.

You know the VShape face is all the rage these days, everyone wants more defined and sharp cheekbones and saggy skin and double chin is a huge no no. In comes this great massager, called Warming Facial and Body Roller EH-SP32. (RM469)  There is one extension for body and the other for the face. You can see how Aishah demo it on her face to get that great Vshape face like hers. Once it’s turned on, the whole roller turns warm, so it’s really nice after a long hard day at work to massage your whole body with this. Furthermore, it’s rechargeable, so you won’t be limited by any wires.

Finally there is this Eye Warming Massager model EH-SW50 (RM589). You just put this own and it vibrates and massage your eye area. There’s also a little piece of part that you can insert in water to make some mist while wearing this massager. Aishah says it’s a great perk me up for those days after late nights and it helps with dark eye rings and wrinkles too. It’s pretty relaxing I must say.
