As parents, baby rooms in the malls is so very important. When my kids were babies, I used to love visiting all these baby rooms and I’d blog about them so that my readers know which mall is baby friendly. I heard about Sunway Pyramid’s newly renovated baby room and decided to take a look inside, even though my boys have all grown up and has no need to use one anymore.
Well if you love shopping with your baby, it’s time to check out Sunway Pyramid’s spanking new baby room. It’s located at LG1 next to Bonita. You can even get a goodie if you do so before 31 March. Details below.
I’ve always loved the automatic sliding door only found in Sunway Pyramid. It’s so easy to enter just by tapping the entry button, you know how hard it is to open doors if you are carrying your baby or pushing a big stroller.
Once inside, there are informative posters about breastfeeding, how to massage your baby and registration info for Kids Membership. If you live nearby or go there often, a kid’s membership would be something very useful.
There are two large diaper changing areas, and I’m sure your precious babies would love them because it’s nice and soft, clean as well. The hand wash is centrally located so it’s really convenient for wash off those germs from our hands after a diaper change without having to risk your baby rolling over and falling off.
There are two nursing cubicles and yes they can be locked for privacy rather than using those scary curtains.
The chair does look pretty comfy with a high back, and there are even magazines for nursing mums to read on the side table. So thoughtful.
A water dispenser is also available for mums who want to mix milk powder instead or even for thirsty nursing mums! Very handy and useful facility when I was nursing last time.
An emergency phone is also provided, you just don’t know what can happen and emergencies can happen anytime. When you are left alone in the room with your baby, a little help from the concierge would be heaven sent.
While I was leaving the baby room, I realised that there is a mum-child toilet facility just next to the room.
There’s actually another diaper changing area inside the ladies’ toilet, nice touch, mums can use this one instead if many other babies are occupying the baby room. It’s in exactly the same style.
There’s a kid’s hand wash area as well, I love malls that are thoughtful like this. I hate it when I have to carry my boy at the waist just to wash hands, they are short, but they need to wash hands too you know.
So the goodie I promised? Just flash this pic above at the the LG1, Blue Zone Concierge and you can get yourself a fun goodie bag. This is what I got below. Remember to collect it by 31 March only.
My kids really love the lioness and sleep with her every night.
