I guess I am late but I just found out about Maxis’ Home Fibre Optic Cable Internet, well that named it Maxis Home Fibre.
The promo deal looks really good at only RM118/month and comes with minimum of 10Mbps. Most importantly is the unlimited quota for now, don’t know until when but most people say it’s forever. If not, quota is at 100Gb which is still quite a lot. There is news that Maxis will also be tying up with Astro to offer an add on IPTV package.
At the moment, the coverage has already reached a number of places in Kajang, but unfortunately not anywhere in my Taman. Why!?
Anyways, the promo plan is for sign up before June 30 2012, and you’ll get lots of FREEBIES, like Free RM200 installation charges, Free Dect phone, Free Modem etc. On top of that, Maxis is offering 600 minutes FREE calls to Maxis Mobiles. That is pretty hot, as most of the people on my contact list uses Maxis. At the moment, I think this is the best fibre optic cable internet plan out there, hopefully this will create some healthy competition and more and more telcos will counter with greater plans.
