While we were waiting to check in to Tune Hotel at 2pm, which is near to University Malaysia Sabah, we decide to take a drive there. I must say that studying there would have been like studying in a resort or paradise, with the beach in view, palm trees, the sea, etc. Wow.
We wanted to visit the Museum and Aquarium, but it was lunch time so it was closed.
Thankfully, John remembered he has a friend lecturing there, so he made a call to meet up. His friend brought us around to the nicest spots, and even showed us the jetty, which happened to be the only university with a jetty of its own.
The beach area was only accessible to certain people, and there was a guard who looked on fiercely when we drove around there.
From the hilltops, we can view the islands, the islands we were going to go to the next day.
I think it would have been great studying here, if not for the merciless sun that burns!
Dang! My uni is in the city. The only time I can have a sea view is to google for sea images…
