When Airasia first moved to LCCT, us poor Airasia travellers had not much of a choice for food before flight as compared to the days of Burger King, KFC, McD and more in KLIA. All there is in LCCT is McD, Coffee Bean, some lousy Asian tiny foodcourt, and that was it. But that is all past with the new Food Court which opened in December of 2007.
The new Food Court is just a few meters away from the main Terminal Building through a roofed walk way. Most people don’t mind walking the short distance for more variety of food.
The interior of the place was really spacious, clean and no doubt quite modern. They have the normal variety of Malaysian food court fare, from Asian noodles, to Mamak food, to Malay dishes of rice and vege.
The food wasn’t expensive either. Most dishes are around RM5.00. I had Nyonya Noodles for lunch. They even have Sarawak Laksa but they said that takes time to make and I had a flight to catch.
John had Penang Fried Kueh Tiaw. Most of the noodles are like signature dishes from different Malaysian states. Pretty cool.
One of the food stalls selling bakery stuff and hot coffee was pretty different. I ordered the Cafe Latte which cost only RM1.90.
It was actually Nescafe Latte, but it was amazingly good, for such a cheap price. One Starbuck coffee could buy six of these.
wow..it is good to know that..looks nice to me…
thanks for the info 🙂
