This is the first Saturday that I don’t have to work. Working hours have changed, so now I work only Mon-Fri. Loving it…
This Saturday being the first Saturday of the month, I was up by 6am and was in church praying, Morning watch. Though I had less than 7 hours of sleep, I am wide awake right now, there’s nothing like strength from God.
This is also the Saturday that’s 2 days away from my trip back to Kuching, my beloved hometown, whose glorious Kolomee I miss desperately…of coz, my family, friends, new nephew to boot..

BAD NEWS is…this is the Saturday, Switchfoot is having a concert, and opening for them is Altered Frequency, and it’s at 6.30pm, and I am not free because I have service up to 7.30pm! Skipping service is the last thing on my mind, but going after service means I will miss a whole chunk of the concert, because the venue is so terribly far away from Kajang, in KL Convention Centre, which for me might take 1 and half to 2 hours to reach by public transport or even driving in the massive crazy jam of last minute CNY shoppers! And a concert with tickets that cost RM140 at the door, with no guarantee to enter if you go late! ARGHH! Bad timing, bad timing…
I love Switchfoot, even way before they were famous and travelling the world. For goodness sake I was in the Footsoldiers club in fact. I never knew it was ever possible in my lifetime that they would come to ASIA, what more to say MALAYSIA! A place that I don’t have to spend hundreds on a flight ticket to go to! But here they are, out our doorstep, and where would I be while they rocked the KL PEOPLE? I would most probably be at home..wondering if I made a mistake.
