I had promised to write just about the food at El Sanctuary Alor Gajah because the food was so good, it deserves a special mention. Our first taste of the food there was for dinner on the first day of our arrival. Some other guests there had wanted a bbq dinner, so we had to chip in extra RM10 per person for that. But there was no regret.
Shearson and Sherman at the BBQ

This was where dinner was served, buffet style in the cafeteria.
They even had BBQ lamb which was the best ever.

For the buffet, I had this, which was chicken, fish, salad, sausages and fruits.
On the next day, breakfast was no less good.
We had toast, pan cakes with banana cream sauce. Heavenly!
What was really famous here was there porridge. It had lots of things in it and a mixture of tastes to tingle your tastebuds.
Breakfast daily was different. The next day we had garlic toast, scrambled egg, potato salad, baked beans.

This was lunch before we left. As you can see, I missed taking some of the pics of the meals as I was too busy gobbling them up! Seriously, that’s how good the food was.
