There’s no better feeling than having dim sum for breakfast in the early morning. Last Saturday, we decided to have some at Restaurant Mexim Kajang (there’s another branch in Connaught)
This restaurant has a wide variety of dim sum and serves them HK style, in the wooden/bamboo crates steaming hot. There are fried kinds and steamed kinds, and there are other things as well, like porridge, century eggs and more. You just need to get a seat and wait for the waiters to come with all the variety of dim sum for you to choose. The waiter then will indicate what you chose on a piece of paper on your table. So, if you keep taking uncontrollably, naturally your bill later on will pile up high as the food here is pretty costly. What you see in the pic above cost more than RM20. Nevertheless, the har kau especially is extremely delicious, the prawn inside totally fresh and crunchy!
Anyways, the unfortunate part is that this restaurant doesn’t serve hot drinks like coffee or tea, they only serve healthy drinks like lo han kuo, lian cha, etc etc. Try it and you will fall for it!
I think mum was looking for that the other time right? You gotta take us there next time!!
