Closing down and shaking up

Nights of Fire

I haven’t written anything in a while coz I thought that my site was closing down. There had been some glitches with my host, and I thought I had to move my site again. Well, thank God I found out this morning that I can keep my site here after all. Phew! What a relieve….but Negimaki won’t be taking in anymore new applications especially those from far off, so look to xmgfree ok. It’s open now, and I actually signed up an account there too, but the subdomain name is just terrible. 😛

Anyways, I had been concert going the last month! The last concert I went to was with The Victorian Planetshakers, held in DUMC. I had met Ps Mike in our recent Campus Camp, and he had invited us to the concert. I had been to Planetshakers concerts in the past, but not quite as massive as this one. They had totally converted the cinema sanctuary into a dance floor. The place was well packed with over a thousand young people, all sweaty, smelly, and excited. We were squashed much like sardines, and sweat was just pouring out, the music was loud and hot, people were jumping and praising God… does that give you a good feel? Ok. it’s about like that, but maybe not as extreme. During the sharing time, we were asked to sit down on the floor coz all the chairs were removed, so that was quite tough as well, since we were already like sardines when standing. Our legs were all cramped by the time we could stand…but it was amazing anyways, coz more than a hundred young people answered the call for salvation and rededication…it was more than the church had expected. Furthermore, it started raining quite heavily, so we hung around the sanctuary, took pictures, make lots of noise, before heading back home.
