So P1 finally officially launched the Wimax products and services yesterday, and unfortunately I couldn’t be there being a working day and all that. Thanks to Danny for the photos though.
It looked like P1 opted to use female aliens from some blue planet to model their services…
Most importantly there were delicious food served…oh man, I wish I was at this chocolate fountain dipping away..
Chocolate strawberry, that sure makes you think of sweet things about P1 after that.
Now didn’t I tell you they used aliens? There were even some live dances and performances to liven up the launch.
This 2 are the only human looking people there, very smart of them to use a super cute boy and a pretty girl. I wonder how much they get paid just to hold a modem and smile…
And then there were the big shots that actually launched the service. P1 must be happy and proud being the first to launch….Obviously I wasn’t there so I don’t know who these people are!
Anyways, the most awaited thing after so long is none other than the pricing! Ok guys, it is not as fast and as cheap as we all had hoped, but I do think it probably is worth getting.
The plan and packages are already on the P1 website. For me I have to forget about P1 Wimax 400 and 700 packages, coz that’s just not enough of speed. I’d go for P1Wimax 1200, furthermore, it now comes with the free modem. Can you believe that one have to pay RM900 for a modem?? It sounds crazy at the moment…I wonder if eventually it’ll be free forever. Well in order to make it worth it, I have to get the P1 Wimax 1200 and sign a 2 year contract. That should be fine if the service is good, but will suck if not. It seems they haven’t start talking about the USB modem, which is what I’m more interested in. Ok so if you’re in the coverage area, which I’m not, why not try it out. They do have a 15 days money back guarantee..
Althought Wimax is wireless, as in no wires needed to plug in to phone or anything like that, it still needs ethernet cable from the house modem to the computer as in this picture.
This might not be a case anymore with the USB modem or when our computers are Wimax ready.
She does make her habit known by even climbing bookshelves. Unfortunately, it was that habit that brought her to her end. On 9th Aug 2008, we were out for breakfast and Elma climbed the steel gate which we bought from our neighbours to replace our front gate, and somehow or other, the gate came crashing down and Elma died on the spot with her skull crushed. There were lots of blood by the time we were back, and Elma was already gone. We wrapped her in a towel and buried her near our house. 
I won’t be getting another picture until I get my 4d scan later on.
