Papayayas shoes makes walking fun

Recently, Josiah started walking a lot so we couldn’t bring him out without wearing shoes anymore. I decided to invest in a pair of Papayayas shoes, a really cute range of soft sole leather shoes. They are having a promotion in Metrojaya, where the normal price of RM79.90 per pair is slashed to RM50 if you buy 2 pairs.

I chose this design, and another one that is a sandal in XL size, wearable for toddlers up to 2 years old.

Josiah seemed to enjoy walking in them, coz they are so soft and comfy. They do not wrap his little feet too tight, thus allowing them to grow at their rapid rate.

Studies have shown that babies and toddlers should be allowed to walk bare footed as much as possible to allow for a healthy growth. It’s supposed to help them develop stronger and more coordinated foot muscles.

Well a list of reasons that convinced me can be found on this site. I did buy a lot of other hard sole shoes for Josiah, but they were all impossible to walk in, he will either trip and won’t be able to crawl either, so they were all a waste of money. I had to chuck them in the shoe rack and never got to using them.
