We went to PC Fair at KLCC Convention Centre yesterday. It must have been about 2 years since I went to the last PC Fair. I never really liked KLCC’s setup and the number of people that thronged the place…I hate crowds!
Well, we decided to go mainly because John wanted to subscribe to HWM and try to get the Altec Lansing 2.1 speaker for free, plus other freebies. On top of the speaker that he got, there was a lucky draw and he won an ATI Graphic card. Cool, HWM took his pic, I wonder if it’ll get in the next publication.
As for me, I bought a new head set. My old AHS20 was long gone.
So I got the new AHS423.
This is a back ear slip kind of headphone with a mic. On Altec Lansing’s site, it retails at USD24.95 and I got it at PC Fair for RM48. So, I guess it’s a good price. I still go back to Altec Lansing, even though I was checking out Sony, Panasonic and others.
Then I went to KLCC’s newly opened Machines to check out the beautiful cinema screens. Machines was also selling Seinnheiser and Shure earphones, phew, they were beautiful, beautiful unaffordable little things! Seinnheiser in ear phones cost above RM200, and Shure’s above RM1k.
oh…. lucky john!
