JB Station to Spore.
The last time I took the train to Spore was a nightmare, due to wanting to save a few bucks, I bought the cheapest economy seated-in-a-cramp-small uncomfortable chair ticket. Couldn’t get any sleep and had backache after that. This time I’m smarter…bought the 2nd class sleeping compartment ticket for about twice the price. But it was smooth sailing all the way. With much privacy after the curtains are drawn, I can even worship God before going to sleep. I think I slept till morning, when the officer came waking us all up to hand us the white card. Now this is the most important card, without which I might have to stay here forever.
By then, it was about 6am. The customs came to check our passports(without even looking at my face, mind you, and they were complaining about immigrants?)
Later, I couldn’t sleep anymore, had to trudge my huge backpack around. Upon arrival in Spore, I decided to grab some foodies in the KTM itself, being cheaper and all. Had myself a Meehoon Siam, not too spicy. Just ok to fill me up till now. Dunno what I should have for lunch….
Took a taxi to Tanjung Pgr MRT, that’s already $5.90 Can you believe it! Slit my throat.
Dorm Room
Plasma TV
Plus, I get free Internet access, there’s pool table, plasma TV, hangout spots, a laundry room, ironing board….NICE…I recommend this place to anyone coming to Spore. It’s just so Worth it, especially if you were in groups of six or something. Oh, forgot to mention free flow of coffee and tea in the Veg Out room…
However, I gotta go conference for the next three days from morning to nite! So I can’t enjoy all these like nobody’s business. Now I have to go iron my clothes for tomorrow.
