My sis Chris told me that in order to keep fit, one has to walk 1000 steps a day. Now that might sound like nothing but for an average working fella, the most one walk is probably like 400-500 steps a day! For me, I sit a lot at work, I get up like 4 times a day to walk to the toilet, which is like 60 steps to and fro. No, it’s not easy to deliberately walk those extra steps, however what one can do is to go shopping! Now when we’re shopping, we always get dog tired by the end of the day, that shows our legs must have been doing a few thousand steps!
Anyways, today, my sis wanted to meet me in KL, she’s now here with her husband on their honeymoon. My sis used to love everything Jap, so I thought I’d take her to the latest Japanese restaurant in town, Tokyo Sushi. I had been there once myself several weeks ago, and had been pretty impressed with the fantastic food and super low prices. There are many set meals to choose from, from Sushi Set, to Unadon to Sashimi all for the price of about RM8-10. Besides that of course there are ala-carte orders.
Today I had Chirashi. This dish is mainly raw fish, sotong, prawns and stuff mixed with Rice. It is also served with Miso Soup, which tastes really authentic compared to some places. The above picture however, was taken half way after nearly finishing the foodies. We also had Ebiko, sushi with fish eggs. I find the Sushi so much more bigger that those sold in Carrefour, and the Wasabi extra power! The place is highly recommended if you love real authentic Japanese cuisine, since the operator and cooks are all Japs.
The whole meal for 4 persons was about RM60. Pretty worthwhile, considering we had 2 ala carte dishes added. Meanwhile, after paying, the waiter presented us with a free meal voucher. Walla! Since my sis aren’t staying the KL forever, she decided to gimme gimme the voucher. The voucher entitled me to a Sushi Set worth Rm 8. I just love Jap food, and I’m gonna go back for more.
Oops, looks like it’s not 1000 steps but 10000 steps! If you’re interested in doing this, check out this site. http://www.healthatoz.com/healthatoz/Atoz/hl/fit/star/alert06152004.jsp
